De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU) is extremely excited to announce that Leicester City’s Premier League champion and former Austrian national football captain Christian Fuchs will open #YourNewDSU this Wednesday at our Grand Opening.
We’ll also be celebrating De Montfort University (DMU)’s partnership with the Foxes and the ‘NoFuchsGiven’ brand with a special discounted sale on Christian’s latest clothing collection – which could also see you given the chance for a selfie with the LCFC star.
Dan Winney, President of DSU, said: “I am really excited to say that Christian Fuchs will be our VIP guest as we open the brand new Campus Centre.
“The brilliant performances from our student groups, too, will be a fitting way to properly launch #YourNewDSU.”
Christian famously brought 'rock, paper, scissors, flick' to DMU last time he was here...but what has he got planned this time?
That all means we’re cordially inviting YOU to join us from 3pm in the Campus Centre Atrium for a look around the completed building, FREE drinks and canapés from our new Milly Lane’s eatery.
Then it’s time for the all-important bit; the official ribbon cutting by Christian alongside Dan Winney and DMU’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Dominic Shellard.
Plus, there’ll be performances from the DMU Steppers and DMU Gospel Choir plus a guard of honour provided by our very own DMU Saints – and entertainment by Demon Media (plus a couple of surprises…)
