*UPDATE: Dan will be in the Campus Centre Atrium again this Friday 7 April between 12pm and 2pm!*
Have you got a big idea that you think De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU) should be looking at?
Your DSU President, Dan Winney, is inviting YOU to drop in for a chat about all things at De Montfort University (DMU) and let us know about any issues, thoughts or ideas you might have.
The first session, which we’re calling ‘Your Big Ideas’ takes place in the Campus Centre Atrium this Friday 31 March between 12pm and 2pm and will be a chance for you to talk to your President over a coffee.
He’ll be there, pen and paper in hand, ready to listen to YOU!
Dan explained: “Students at DMU are always thinking of ways to improve university life, and having been a member of the Officer Team for two years I know that you have some great ideas.
“That’s why, in my last few months as your President, I want to make sure we’re looking at the issues, thoughts and ideas that are on your mind.
“This is a chance for any student to help us focus on what matters to you, which I can then actively use to shape the students’ union and lobby the university.
“We are also building our strategic plan, which will be in place for the next five years and therefore it is so important to get your views across.”
Dan aims to make Your Big Ideas a regular drop-in session, every Friday from 12pm and 2pm at various locations across campus. You can keep up to date with where he’ll be each week across DSU’s social media channels.
