Are you ready? It’s almost time for #FreshFest18!
Here at De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU), we’re pleased to announce that #FreshFest18 will officially start on Friday 21 September and run all the way to Sunday 30 September with a week crammed full of freebies, days and nights out and a tonne of ways to introduce you (or welcome you back) to Leicester and De Montfort University (DMU).
The week will feature a whole host of both day and night events for both new and returning students to get involved with. A full programme of events will be released later in the summer.
International Welcome Week, designed especially for international students new to DMU and the UK, will run from Monday 17 to Friday 21 September.

Mollie has explained that there will be something for everyone at #FreshFest18.
Mollie Footitt, Deputy President (DP) Education at DSU, said: “Introducing thousands of students to DMU and the city of Leicester is a huge highlight of the year for DSU, and I’m sure that #FreshFest18 will be no different.
“Our job is to give you experiences that set you up for life and make your time at DMU the best it can be, so we’re working hard to make sure that #FreshFest18 is filled with something for everyone.
“I can’t wait to welcome the newest students to DMU in September!”
