What is MyUniPal and how does it work?

MyUniPal scheme aims to welcome and support new students around key dates at university. You will meet a UniPal at International Welcome and Freshers Weeks and they will be running and supporting a range of different activities to welcome you to DMU. So feel free to approach them with any questions!

The first weeks are important, but we acknowledge that there will be times during the year where new students will require more support. Therefore, MyUniPal will be organising a variety of activities throughout the year. Visit our Activities Calendar for more information here.

Who are MyUniPal mentors?

MyUniPal volunteer mentors are DMU university students keen to help new students at university. They will be supporting and organising a range of different activities around key transition dates to welcome and guide new students on campus.
