It's a student-led meeting that provides a platform for students to passionately challenge their Student Leader Officers, who were elected by the student body to make the change they promised.

The goal? To constructively address ongoing actions and collectively achieve students shared priorities.

According to the DSU byelaws, ‘the scrutiny panel is classified as a crucial sub-committee of the Student Council. It's where our Executive and Liberation Officers are closely examined on their work and progress towards fulfilling their manifesto aims.’

As a student you can raise the question if your student officers are making enough progress.

• Are they doing what they promised in their manifesto?
• Did they deliver or are they falling short?

Do you have good rationale thinking, want to make a change within the union and want to hold your officers accountable?

Come prepared to the first Student Council of the year with a 2 minute speech as to why members should vote you in!
