Based in the heart of Leicester’s cultural quarter, we’re an arts organisation with over twenty years’ experience. We help children immerse themselves in the arts in a variety of places and spaces. We offer children opportunities to discover their skills, passions and potential – both as an audience or participants.

We commission and we produce ambitious, high-quality quality experiences that are led by diversity and innovation; we organise a bold and imaginative children’s arts festival; and we champion local cultural activity so that children in the region can thrive!

And we do all of this through the Vital Spark movement and with the help of The Spark’s amazing Child Action Group

  • At Your School Volunteers

    This opportunity takes place between 20 May 2025 and 23 May 2025 Closing date for applications is 02 May.

    For the At Your School events, volunteers will support the team by attending school performances and supporting the touring companies throughout the week. Tasks include assisting with event set-up and take-down, putting up banners, and helping staff and teachers prepare for performances. Volunteers will need a DBS check for these school-based roles.

    This is also a fantastic chance to experience world-class music, dance, and theatre performances, specially curated for Leicester and Leicestershire schools.

    Event Dates: Tuesday 20th May to Friday, 23rd May 2025

    Location: Various schools across Leicester

    Timing: To be confirmed (sessions will be either in the morning or afternoon)
