The Open Zone leads on the general development of DSU and all democratic matters. The Zone will have responsibility for campaigning on issues relating to union development and will hold the Union Development Executive to account.

Joining the Open Zone gives you a great chance to input in to how DSU is run and improve the way we represent your fellow students.

Any current student member of DSU can run in the elections to join the Open Zone. 

The Zone membership will be:

Union Development Executive – Joanna Dine Hart
9 elected student members.

The Open Zone will regularly report back to Student Council on union development matters.
